Soma inspired to establish the institution owing to her own struggles of finding appropriate intervention for their son who was diagnosed with ASD during his early childhood. In spite of their effort and having found little to no resources that could help their son to lead a life with dignity and with equal opportunity, she decided that it is necessary to open a school along with tailormade services for the children with special need so that they can  bring these children back in mainstream of society. They rejections from various levels help Soma to redirect her objective in life. 

Sharmila Dasgupta is a passionate and dedicated special educator with over a decade of experience working with children with special needs. Her journey began in 2011 and since then, she has been committed to providing love, support and care to her students.

Sharmila holds a Master's degree, B.Ed. and Special B.Ed. from Jadavpur University.
